Job Description:
Full job descriptionDistinct are working with a large, multi-entity finance function who are looking to hire a Management Accountant to take ownership of accounting across a complex, international business structure.
This is a hands-on controllership role. You’ll be responsible for month-end close, journal preparation, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis, all delivered to tight reporting deadlines.
The team operates at scale with a genuine focus on process improvement and automation. You’ll be expected to identify inefficiencies and work collaboratively to fix them
Salary & Benefits:
*£45,000 - £55,000 DOE.
*Excellent benefits package.
*Hybrid working available with a flexible approach from the employer.
*25 days annual leave with the option to purchase 5 more
*Matched pension contribution up to 10%
Role Overview:
*Month-end accounting and journal preparation across multiple entities.
*Balance sheet reconciliations and resolution of any issues arising.
*Liaison with internal and external auditors.
*Stakeholder reporting and engagement with senior finance and operational leads.
*Contributing to process improvement and automation initiatives.

About You/Job Requirements
*Qualified accountant — ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
*Strong Excel and systems skills.
*Comfortable working to deadlines and managing upward.
*Newly or recently qualified candidates looking to build corporate finance experience at scale are encouraged to apply
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to coach and develop others
