Are you an experienced Behaviour Mentor looking for an opportunity to make a real impact in a specialist setting? A highly regarded Ofsted-rated Outstanding school in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support learners with autism and challenging behaviours.
The Role:
*Temporary-to-permanent opportunity with progression routes
*Competitive daily rate of £100-£120
*Supporting learners with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
*Implementing de-escalation strategies and behaviour interventions
*Working closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams
*Contributing to a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment within an outstanding specialist setting in Bletchley
The Ideal Candidate:
*Previous experience working as a Behaviour Mentor, Learning Mentor, or within an SEN/SEMH setting
*Strong understanding of behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
*Passion for supporting learners with autism and challenging behaviours
*Resilient, adaptable, and able to build positive, trusting relationships with young people
