Job Description:
Full job descriptionOur client, Leicester City Council, is seeking an agency social worker for its Adult Mental Health team.
This role will last 3 months initially and is paid at £34 umbrella.
One day per week in the office.
The role will involve the following:
*Assessments under the Care Act
*Care planning and support
*Safeguarding
*Multi agency working
*Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity work
*Complete Best Interest Decisions
*Residential reviews
*Covering team duty
*Eligibility assessments
*Hosp discharge
*S117 meetings
*Strength based assessments

Requirements of the role:
*Qualified Social Worker
*Fully Social Work England registered
*Must have significant post-qualified experience in adult social care
*Ideal candidate will have some experience of working with adults with mental health conditions
