This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is creative in their approach to learning and holds high expectations for pupil progress. In this role, you will provide essential in-class support and deliver tailored SEN interventions to ensure every child has an inclusive environment to reach their full potential. Whether you have years of experience or are a recent graduate looking to expand your practical experience in education and training, your unique strengths and passion for raising standards are exactly what we are looking for.
Key Responsibilities of the 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
*Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning and behavioural needs.
*Implement structured intervention and SEN programmes to boost engagement and confidence.
*Work collaboratively with class teachers to adapt learning materials to suit the pupil’s needs.
*Foster an inclusive, positive, and safe classroom environment in the Chester area.
What We Are Looking For:
*A dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
*Strong communication skills and a creative, patient approach to learning.
*Relevant background or qualifications in education and training (or a strong desire to develop in this sector).
*An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
