Full job descriptionFJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist within the UK water industry for a Network Risk Analyst to join their Night Operations Team based in North London.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established organisation that delivers specialist pipeline inspection, leak detection and water network services to major UK water utilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the planning and coordination of night-time field operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with customer requirements.
The Role
As a Network Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing operational data, preparing permits, completing risk assessments and providing administrative support to the Night Operations Team. Working closely with operational and field-based colleagues, you will help ensure planned works are delivered safely, accurately and efficiently.
Please note this is a night shift position, working 7:00pm – 5:30am in Enfield, North London.
Key Responsibilities
*Analyse District Metered Area (DMA) data to support operational planning and decision-making.
*Prepare and issue permits for Night Field Teams in line with company procedures.
*Complete Water Quality Assessments and assist with the preparation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
*Identify customer and operational risks, escalating issues where appropriate.
*Accurately input, maintain and update operational data across internal systems.
*Ensure all job records are completed accurately and kept up to date throughout the work lifecycle.
*Produce, review and process operational reports to monitor job performance and progress.
*Liaise with operational teams to support the timely completion of planned works.
*Maintain accurate electronic records and databases, ensuring data integrity at all times.
*Provide general administrative support, including responding to queries and preparing documentation.
*Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures and data management standards.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
*Previous experience preparing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
*Experience within job scheduling, permit administration or operational planning.
*Strong attention to detail with excellent data accuracy skills.
*Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
*Strong written and verbal communication skills.
*The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with operational teams.
*A proactive approach with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
*Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
*Experience using operational or data management systems would be advantageous.
*Previous experience within the water, utilities or infrastructure sector would be beneficial, but is not essential.
