Description
*Prepare and review financial statements in adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
*Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
*Conduct variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performance.
*Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to guide strategic planning.
*Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including preparing VAT returns and liaising with tax authorities.
*Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
*Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits to ensure compliance and transparency.
*Provide financial advice and support to key stakeholders within the organisation.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
*A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) or equivalent.
*Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis within a similar role.
*Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
*Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
Job Offer
£60k - £65k, plus bonus
