*Process invoices and ensure accurate data entry into financial systems.
*Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documentation.
*Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies as needed.
*Support the finance team with budgeting and forecasting activities.
*Maintain organised financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
*Respond to internal and external queries regarding financial matters.
*Assist with the preparation of payroll data and related tasks.
*Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance department.
Profile
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
*Previous experience in a finance or accounting role.
*Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
*A strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
*An understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
*Excellent organisational and time management skills.
*Ability to work effectively within a team in a not-for-profit environment.
Job Offer
*An hourly rate of GBP 15.0 to GBP 19.0, depending on experience.
