About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to join a busy yard team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a physically demanding role that involves manual handling throughout the day and would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Manually lifting and moving 20kg bags throughout the shift.
*Stacking bags safely onto pallets, building pallets to approximately 3 metres high.
*Loading and unloading materials as required.
*Keeping the yard clean, tidy and organised.
*Following all health and safety procedures.
*Supporting the wider yard team with general duties.
Candidate Requirements
*Physically fit and able to undertake repetitive heavy lifting.
*Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
*Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
*Able to work well as part of a team.
*Previous yard, warehouse or production experience is desirable but not essential.
