Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 + commission
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (4:30pm finish on Fridays)

Responsibilities of a Sales Development Executive: This role starts within the Internal Sales team, where you’ll gain a thorough understanding of the products, customers and day-to-day operation of the business and you will transition organically into a Area Sales role as you learn.
*Handling customer enquiries by phone and email
*Sell products over the phone, via email and over the counter
*Preparing quotations and processing orders
*Providing support to customers at the trade counter
*Building relationships with existing customers
*Learning about a wide range of industrial and engineering products
*Working closely with internal departments including warehouse and assembly
*Developing your technical knowledge through ongoing training
*As your knowledge develops the role will go on to external face to face visits and account management selling the products to your customers you have built strong relationships with and identify new business opportunities
Requirements of a Sales Development Executive: *Must have some experience within sales
*Is confident communicating with customers
*Is organised, enthusiastic and eager to learn
*Enjoys building relationships
*Has good IT skills
*Wants to develop a long-term career rather than just finding their next job
