Pay Rates
*Days: £22.00 per hour
*Nights: £25.00 per hour
*PAYE – Holiday pay accrued separately
*Guaranteed minimum 8 hours’ pay per shift
Shift Information
Day Shifts
*Start times between 04:00 and 11:00
*Trunking to Stoke
Night Shifts
*Start times between 15:00 and 17:00
*Trunking to Scunthorpe
*Shift lengths: 9–13 hours
*Ongoing, full-time work available
*Immediate starts
The Role
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you’ll be responsible for:
*Completing depot-to-depot trunking deliveries
*Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
*Completing all transport paperwork accurately
*Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
*Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service
*Complying with all Driver Hours, Tachograph, and Road Transport regulations
Requirements
To be considered, you’ll need:
*A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
*Valid Driver CPC
*Valid Digital Tachograph Card
*No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
*A professional, reliable, and safety-focused approach
*Good communication and time management skills
*Flexibility to work the required shift pattern
