Full job descriptionOur client is looking for an experienced and driven Area Sales Manager covering the North to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-oriented sales professional with proven experience in the automatic door industry who is passionate about winning new business and building lasting customer relationships.
This is a field-based role where your work is predominantly out meeting customers for meetings and site visits.
Starting from £40,000 per annum, with the potential to increase based on experience, industry knowledge, and proven sales performance. This role also offers uncapped commission and a company car and the opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of their business.
Key Responsibilities:
*Develop new business opportunities across the Northern region.
*Increase sales revenue by identifying and securing new customers.
*Promote their products and services to prospective clients.
*Identify target areas, projects, and market opportunities to expand the business.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
*Prepare quotations and proposals.
*Prospect for new business through networking and lead generation.
*Attend customer meetings and site visits.
*Produce regular sales reports and forecasts.
*Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
*Direct sales experience within the automatic door industry.
*A proven track record in sales and new business development.
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
*A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
*Excellent organisational and time management skills.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
*The ability to read technical drawings and architectural specifications.
*Strong technical knowledge, including BS EN 16005.
*A full UK driving licence.
