About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter / Machine Builder to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and testing bespoke machinery and production equipment to high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities*Assemble and build mechanical machinery from engineering drawings.
*Fit and align mechanical components, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, and pneumatic systems.
*Carry out machine testing and fault-finding where required.
*Work with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
*Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
*Support installation and commissioning of machinery when required.
*Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
Requirements*Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Machine Builder, or similar engineering role.
*Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
*Experience using hand and power tools.
*Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*A positive attitude with a commitment to quality and safety.
Desirable Skills*Experience with automated machinery or special purpose machines.
*Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
