Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Primary SchoolLocation: Blackpool, Lancashire
Start Date: 1st September


About the RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Blackpool from 1st September. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated education professional who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a positive and inclusive environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality support across the curriculum, helping pupils to achieve their full academic, social, and emotional potential.
Key Responsibilities*Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
*Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
*Provide targeted intervention support to raise attainment and progress.
*Support pupils with varying learning needs, including those requiring additional support.
*Assist with classroom preparation, organisation, and resource management.
*Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
*Encourage positive behaviour and promote an inclusive learning environment.
*Support the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils.
*Contribute to the wider life of the school and participate in school activities where required.
Essential Requirements*Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
*Previous experience working within a Primary School setting.
*Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
*A proactive, flexible, and positive approach to supporting learning.
*Strong classroom management skills.
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable Requirements*Experience delivering interventions in literacy and numeracy.
*Experience supporting children with additional learning needs.
*Knowledge of phonics programmes and primary assessment frameworks.
*First Aid qualification.
