People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative, Picker Packer, Order Picker, Warehouse Assistant, Stores Operative, Production Operative, or Dispatch Operative to join our well-established client based in Kings Norton, Birmingham on a full-time, permanent basis.

Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• 37.5 hours per week
• Working hours scheduled between 08:00 and 20:00
Rates of Pay
• £12.71 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:
• Selecting correct items from warehouse locations using pick lists or scanners
• Checking product codes, quantities, and sizes for accuracy
• Locating blinds, parts, or materials in storage racks safely and efficiently
• Following order priorities and deadlines
• Reporting missing, damaged, or incorrect stock
• Using appropriate packaging materials, including boxes, bubble wrap, and protective sleeves
• Labelling parcels correctly with order details and delivery information
• Preparing goods for dispatch and loading areas
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures and company policies
Essential Skills
As a Warehouse Operative, you will need:
• Previous experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• A reliable and hardworking attitude
• The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• A willingness to learn and follow health and safety procedures
Desirable Experience
• Previous experience working as a Warehouse Operative, Picker Packer, Stores Operative, or Production Operative would be advantageous
• Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems would be beneficial
• Previous experience within a fast-paced distribution environment would be desirable
