Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
*Managing the purchase ledger from end to end
*Processing around 100 invoices per week onto the system
*Raising purchase orders and posting fuel invoices
*Reconciling supplier statements and supporting payment runs as you settle in
*Handling bank reconciliations and liaising internally for approvals
*Uploading weekly payroll data for 50 staff (with outsourced processing)
*Managing the daily accounts inbox and resolving queries

What you will need:
*Previous experience in a similar finance role (Purchase Ledger Clerk, Accounts Payable, Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Finance Officer)
*AAT qualification would be great, but not necessary
*Experience with Xero or similar accounting systems is a bonus
*A methodical approach, strong organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail
*The ability to communicate well and go the extra mile in a practical, down-to-earth team
