Full job descriptionOur client based in Grays are looking for a Junior to train to be a Warehouse Operative within their organisation.


Key Responsibilities
*Loading and unloading containers, including handballing and using pump trucks
*Picking and packing customer orders accurately
*Moving, stacking, labelling, wrapping, and preparing pallets for dispatch
*Stock replenishment and stock consolidation
*Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles
*Carrying out regular housekeeping duties, including sweeping, keeping work areas tidy, and emptying waste bins
*Following picking lists, packing instructions, and warehouse procedures accurately
*Ensuring goods are handled safely to minimise damage
*Working as part of a team to meet daily operational deadlines
*Complying with all company health and safety procedures
Requirements
*No previous warehouse experience is essential, as full training will be provided
*Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting throughout the working day
*Able to read and understand picking and packing lists
*Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
*Good attention to detail
*Willing to work additional hours, start earlier, or finish later when required to meet business demands
*A positive attitude and strong work ethic
