Salary: £18.00 – £20.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
A well-established precision engineering company in Birmingham is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Programmer to join its skilled machining team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business producing high-quality precision components.
Key Responsibilities*Program, set, and operate 3-axis and 4-axis CNC milling machines.
*Read and interpret engineering drawings to BS/ISO standards.
*Carry out first-off inspections, prove-outs, and quality checks.
*Inspect components using precision measuring equipment.
*Ensure work is completed to high quality standards and production deadlines.
*De-burr finished components and maintain a safe, organised work area.
Requirements*Minimum 5 years’ experience programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines.
*At least 3 years’ experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC mills.
*Strong knowledge of tooling and inspection equipment.
*Ability to read engineering drawings.
*Good CNC programming and computer skills.
*Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
