The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Wolverhampton College to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Technical Trainer & Advisor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to support industry development by delivering specialist technical training, providing expert advice, and helping employers enhance the skills and knowledge of their workforce.
About the Role*As a Technical Trainer & Advisor at Wolverhampton College, you will:
*Develop and deliver specialist technical training programmes both on campus and at employer premises,
*Provide advisory and troubleshooting support to businesses within your specialist sector,
*Support practical demonstrations, product trials, and technical development activities,
*Build and maintain strong employer partnerships to promote courses, services, and industry engagement,
*Consult with employers to identify workforce development needs and recommend appropriate training solutions,
*Contribute to the continuous improvement of training programmes, facilities, and learner outcomes.
What We’re Looking For*Significant industry experience within a relevant technical or engineering discipline,
*Strong knowledge of industry processes, materials, equipment, and best practices,
*Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage a wide range of learners and employers,
*A customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving abilities,
*A Level 3 qualification or above in a relevant subject area (teaching or training qualifications desirable),
*A valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
