The Opportunity
Amber Employment Services is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established tree surgery contractor based in Woking.
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint a reliable and hardworking Groundsman to join their experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside skilled arborists on a variety of domestic and commercial projects across Surrey and the surrounding areas.
Duties will include:
*Assisting climbers with day-to-day tree surgery operations
*Processing branches and timber
*Operating woodchippers and other ground-based equipment
*Loading and unloading tools, machinery and materials
*Maintaining a clean and safe worksite
*Assisting with tree felling and dismantling operations
*General grounds maintenance and site clearance
*Working safely in accordance with Health & Safety procedures
We’re looking for someone who has:
*Previous experience within tree surgery, arboriculture or grounds maintenance
*A positive attitude and strong work ethic
*The ability to work as part of a team
*A willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
*Chainsaw qualifications (desirable but not essential)
