Baltic Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading international plastic injection moulding business, who supply world class products to their global customers.
This role is a genuine temp to perm position, with an increase in pay rate once probation is successfully completed.
Transport provided from various pick-up points in Scarborough.
Pay Rates: £12.75 increasing to £13.26 after 12 weeks and overtime is paid at £.
Experience within a production/warehouse environment would be advantageous but not essential, as training will be given.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
*Safely and accurately operate manual or electric pallet truck to move and transport goods within a shop floor environment.
*Load and unload materials correctly, and support production team members.
*Understand work instructions, and maintain quality levels.
*Use handheld scanners and other devices.
*Adhere to all safety procedures within the workplace.
Requirements:
*Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
*Physical ability to lift and move items as needed.
*Fast-paced environment.
*Quality checking.
*Labelling and Packing.
*Maintain good housekeeping.
*Adhering to Health and Safety.
*Reliable and committed.
*Positive attitude to work.
*Good English skills both written and verbal.
*Teamwork.
Candidates must be able to work all 3 shifts on rotation.
Days:
Wednesday to Friday 7:50am - 20.00pm - 2 rest days
Nights:
Monday to Wednesday 19:50pm - 8:00am - 4 rest days
Split Shift:
Monday and Tuesday 7.50am - 20.00pm -
1 rest day
Thursday and Friday 19:50pm - 8:00am - 4 rest days
