A leading regional Legal 500 commercial law firm is looking to appoint an ambitious Employment Solicitor to join its Milton Keynes office. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy high-quality work, genuine career progression and the chance to work alongside recognised employment specialists.

Acting for an impressive client base ranging from SMEs and owner-managed businesses to national companies and senior executives, you’ll advise on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters within a supportive, collaborative and commercially focused environment.

The Opportunity

This role offers a mix between contentious and non-contentious employment work, advising both employers and employees on a range of employment law matters.
Your workload will include:
*Drafting employment contracts, policies and staff handbooks
*Advising employers on day-to-day HR and employment law issues
*Settlement agreements and negotiated exits
*Employment Tribunal litigation
*Redundancies, restructures and disciplinary matters
*TUPE advice and employment support on corporate transactions
*Supporting business development initiatives, networking and client training

Who you are

We are looking for an Employment Solicitor, with a good team spirit.
*Around 2–6 years’ PQE
*Experience handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
*Exposure to Employment Tribunal work
*Strong drafting and client management skills
*Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
*Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
*An interest in business development and growing client relationships
