Full job descriptionGas Breakdown EngineerBase Salary of £41,027 | Realistic OTE up to £50k+ per annum | Company Van & Fuel Card | Local Patch in Enfield

Your Role as Our Gas Breakdown Engineer:*Attend and diagnose gas heating breakdowns within domestic properties.
*Carry out fault-finding, repairs, and first-time fixes where possible, ensuring systems are restored safely and efficiently.
*Work in accordance with health & safety guidelines, safe working practices, operational procedures, gas safety regulations, and specifications.
*Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota to support customers when they need us most.
*Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and safety.
*Accurately report and complete work using a PDA/mobile device.
*Report accidents, near-miss events, and potential hazards.
*Be flexible in working with a wide range of customers, adapting to their needs and schedules.
*Identify and advise on any further remedial works required to ensure safe operation of heating systems.
What We Need from You:*ACS qualifications: CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT
*Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing domestic gas heating systems.
*A full UK driving licence.
*Flexibility and a positive attitude towards varied work and schedules.
*Excellent customer service skills with experience working directly with the public.
*A solid understanding of gas legislation and regulations.
*Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices and working to industry best standards.
*Ability to manage your time and workload independently.
*Recognised formal qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) desirable.
*Additional qualifications (LPG, Unvented) are advantageous.
