Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global law firm, to assist them in their search for a new Accounting Specialist to join their London office on a 12-month FTC basis.
Working within their collaborative team, the successful applicant will be responsible for supporting Accounts with reporting, returns, transactions, and compliance activity.
Responsibilities will include:
*Reviewing and posting journals.
*Recording and reporting receipts.
*Performing bank reconciliations, managing daily transactions, and monitoring bank balances.
*Maintaining bills and supporting compliance checks.
*Preparing and filing returns.
*Supporting audits and compliance with the SRA.
*Covering the client account and assisting with VAT compliance, as necessary.
*Managing expense and invoice approvals.
*Managing email enquiries.
*Supporting the wider team and ad hoc duties as required.
The firm are offering a competitive salary & benefits package, and hybrid working arrangements are in place.
Suitable candidates will have gained 5+ years of legal accounts experience, ideally within a law firm, although professional services environments will also be considered. We are seeking applicants who understand the Solicitors Accounts Rules and have exemplary attention to detail, organisation, and analytical skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of Excel, Aderant, and Emburse is highly desired.
