We’re looking for a passionate HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist to join our client’s specialist school, supporting children and young people with neurological, physical and complex additional needs.
Working as part of a highly skilled trans-disciplinary team, you’ll help students develop the independence, confidence and life skills they need to succeed both in school and beyond.
What You’ll Do
*Deliver individual and group occupational therapy programmes.
*Assess functional skills and develop personalised therapy plans.
*Recommend specialist equipment and environmental adaptations.
*Support seating, moving and handling, and eating and drinking plans.
*Work closely with teachers, families and external professionals.
*Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews and staff training.
What We’re Looking For
*Degree in Occupational Therapy.
*HCPC Registration.
*Experience supporting people with neurological impairments.
*Excellent communication and assessment skills.
Desirable: Experience working with children and young people, Sensory Integration, hand splinting, RCOT membership, and knowledge of specialist equipment.
