Veritas Education is seeking passionate and dedicated Level 2 and Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join our supply team, working across a variety of welcoming nurseries in Southwark and the surrounding areas.
Whether you’re looking for full-time supply work or just a few days each week, we offer flexible opportunities that allow you to choose when and where you work while gaining experience in a range of high-quality Early Years settings.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in supporting children aged 0-5 years, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive in line with the EYFS framework.
What We’re Looking For*A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or an equivalent qualification (essential)
*Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
*A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
*A caring, enthusiastic, and reliable approach
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills
*A flexible attitude and a genuine passion for supporting young children’s development
Your Responsibilities*Deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences
*Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing
*Assist with daily routines, including meals, naps, and outdoor play
*Foster children’s social, emotional, and communication skills
*Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating nursery environment
*Work collaboratively with nursery teams to provide high-quality care and education
