We’re recruiting on behalf of a large, successful, and well-established company based in Carlisle that is looking to welcome an experienced Accounts Assistant to its friendly and supportive finance team.
As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function, with responsibilities including:
*Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices
*Bank reconciliations
*Preparing and processing payments
*Credit control and supplier statement reconciliations
*Assisting with month-end processes
*Maintaining accurate financial records
*Providing general administrative support to the finance team
We’re keen to hear from candidates who have:
*Previous experience working in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
*Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
*Good working knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
*A proactive, positive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
