Here at GXO, we’re seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our Primark Thrapston site. You’ll be at the heart of the operation, leading by example and motivating your team to deliver exceptional results. Reporting to the Shift Manager, you’ll drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement, ensuring performance targets are achieved through strong leadership and effective day-to-day management.
This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work ’any 5 from 7’, across our night shift, covering the hours of 22:00 till 06:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £36,017.17 per annum plus 30% shift premium, and 31 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
*Lead teams to achieve and exceed KPIs while maintaining the highest standards of safety and product care
*Ensure full compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety standards, including 6S and housekeeping
*Allocate daily work, manage headcount and overtime, and control costs against budget
*Drive continuous improvement by reviewing processes, maintaining SOPs and eliminating waste
*Engage colleagues on the shop floor, deliver accurate shift handovers, and maintain clear performance reporting

*Previous management experience within a fast-paced or complex environment
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate teams
*Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
*Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities and use initiative
