Full job descriptionA1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a Dispatch Operative on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Hatfield.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy production and logistics team, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are accurately prepared, labelled, and dispatched on time.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Dispatch Operative, you will be responsible for preparing finished goods for dispatch, completing shipping documentation, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the dispatch department.
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare and pack finished products for dispatch.
*Accurately label products and shipments in line with customer requirements.
*Weigh products and record dispatch information.
*Complete basic administration tasks, including shipping paperwork and dispatch records.
*Ensure all orders are checked for accuracy before dispatch.
*Liaise with production and warehouse teams to meet delivery deadlines.
*Maintain accurate stock and dispatch records.
*Keep the dispatch area clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety procedures.
*Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when required.
About You
*Previous experience in a Dispatch Operative, Warehouse Operative, or Manufacturing role.
*Good attention to detail and accuracy.
*Comfortable carrying out basic administrative duties.
*Competent using Microsoft Office and/or warehouse systems.
*Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
*Strong organisational and communication skills.
*Reliable, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
