Veritas Education is currently working with a welcoming Secondary School in Kendal that is seeking an Unqualified Cover Supervisor to join their team.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise pre-set lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher, ensuring pupils remain engaged and on task. No teaching qualification is required, making this an excellent opportunity for graduates, sports coaches, youth workers, support staff, or anyone considering a future career in teaching.
The Role:*Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across a range of subjects
*Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
*Support students with their learning and engagement
*Gain valuable experience within a secondary school setting
Ideal Candidates Will:*Be confident communicating with young people
*Have strong classroom presence and organisational skills
*Be reliable, professional, and enthusiastic
*Have experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
