Full job descriptionWe are working on behalf of our client, a reputable independent garage in Milton Keynes, seeking a Senior Vehicle Technician to join their experienced team. Benefits for the successful Senior Vehicle Technician:
*Basic salary up to £45,760 (£22 per hour), with overtime paid at double rate (up to £44 per hour)
*Overtime available with any hours worked paid at 2x hourly rate
*Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, 40 hours per week
*No weekend work, allowing for a healthy work/life balance

Duties of the Senior Vehicle Technician:
*Conduct diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and mechanical work on a diverse range of vehicles
*Diagnose complex faults accurately and efficiently
*Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
*Provide a professional, friendly customer service experience at all times
*Assist junior team members, sharing technical knowledge and best practices
*Ensure all work complies with industry and manufacturer standards
*Keep workshop and diagnostic equipment maintained and functional to high standards
Requirements of the Senior Vehicle Technician:
*Recognised qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
*Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with a focus on high-end or German brands preferred
*Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
*High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
*Positive attitude and proactive approach to work
*Ability to work effectively within a team environment
*Willingness to learn and stay current with industry developments
*Enthusiasm for working with premium vehicles and delivering excellent customer care
