Full job descriptionAn established freight forwarding company is looking for an enthusiastic LCL Export Operator to join its growing operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2 years’ experience in sea freight exports who is looking to develop their career within a fast-paced logistics environment.


Responsibilities:
As an LCL Export Operator, you will be responsible for coordinating export shipments from booking through to final documentation, ensuring all movements are handled efficiently and in line with customer requirements.
*Coordinate and manage LCL export shipments from start to finish.
*Liaise daily with customers, shipping lines, hauliers, warehouses, and overseas agents.
*Book collections and arrange transport in line with shipment schedules.
*Ensure all export documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
*Check shipping instructions, commercial documents, and booking details for accuracy.
*Verify that all shipment information matches warehouse management systems and internal operational systems.
*Communicate shipment updates and proactively resolve customer queries.
*Coordinate cargo deliveries into warehouses and monitor consolidation schedules.
*Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure cargo is received and loaded correctly.
*Obtain rates and manage bookings with shipping lines and carriers.
*Ensure all jobs are processed efficiently and within required timelines.
*Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
*Support invoicing and operational administration as required.
*Follow company procedures, compliance requirements, and health & safety standards.
Your Experience
*1-2 years’ experience in sea freight forwarding, with exposure to LCL exports.
*Strong understanding of LCL cargo handling, consolidation processes, and container loading requirements
