Location: Royton, Oldham (Office-Based)
Contract Type: Temporary, Part-time
Working Hours: 11.5 hours per week, as outlined below:
Friday: 8.45am – 4.45pm (including 30 min unpaid break)
Saturday: 9.00am – 1.00pm
Additional hours will likely be available from time to time to provide cover for annual leave and sickness absence within the Reception Team.
Please note, due to existing clinic schedules and patient appointments, the advertised hours are non-negotiable, and applicants must be available to work these hours.

*Applicants must have previous receptionist, front-of-house healthcare administration experience.
*Applicants must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK.

*This is a fully office-based position in Royton, Oldham.

The Role
As the first point of contact for many of our clients, you will play a vital role in creating a positive experience from the very first interaction.
We are looking for someone who is organised, professional, confident, and able to thrive in a busy healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Providing a warm and professional welcome to clients and visitors
*Answering and managing incoming telephone enquiries
*Responding to emails and client enquiries efficiently
*Booking and managing appointments
*Processing client payments
*Maintaining accurate records and client information
*Supporting day-to-day administrative duties
*Ensuring the clinic reception area remains clean, tidy, and welcoming
*Working effectively with clinicians and the wider team
*Using Microsoft Office and clinic management systems confidently and accurately
Essential Requirements
*Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a receptionist, medical receptionist, healthcare administrator, or similar customer-facing role.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Experience managing appointment diaries and telephone enquiries
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Confident use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
*Professional and friendly telephone manner
*Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
Desirable
*Previous experience within a physiotherapy environment
*Experience using appointment booking or practice management software
