Full job descriptionEstablished in 2004, we are an office furniture and interiors company based in Northamptonshire. We provide solutions to companies of all sizes – from a single chair, to a full office refit.
Over recent years, we have seen steady growth and are now looking for a Sales Executive to join our growing sales team. We’re looking for a new starter to begin with us in September. You would be working from our offices in Milton Malsor, Northampton – and working on projects across the country. Much of the initial work is done on the telephone, but you would also be required to go and meet clients on site too as needed.
We are looking for a specific type of person, as we have a great team – so we want someone who can be a part of this. You should be a positive person – honest, resourceful and hard working.
We are looking ideally for someone with sales experience – and who understands the B2B sales process. Ideally from a B2B sales position – though not essential. You should be outgoing, determined and ready for a challenge, as our sales process is one of the hardest around. You need to be organised, professional, systematic and outgoing. A good sense of humour is also important.
We are open to people from all backgrounds – including graduates – but applicants with experience of selling B2B such as stationery, office furniture, photocopiers, telecom equipment and other capital equipment would certainly be advantageous. But most of all - we want positive people who are resilient and good with people.
You would be selling to businesses of all sizes. We advertise heavily online, and use the latest technology to identify new leads and opportunities. These leads would be provided to you – and would require you to pursue, track and convert to new business.

We offer a basic salary – and we offer a very high rate of uncapped commission – we want our sales people to earn well if they can sell. We want the best of the best - great communicators, and driven people - but without being ’dog eat dog’ - which is what we avoid. We’re really team players.
We are offering a basic salary PLUS generous uncapped commissions. The basic salary depends on your skills and experience, and we’d want to see what you’re on now. The commission can be substantial and will definitely match your efforts. We base targets on realistic expectations – we want people to join us for the long term, and get a good work/life balance.
Your work would involve a lot of cold calling, as well as following up on the leads we supply. You would be quoting with support from our operations team - leaving you to sell more. We would want you to meet customers at their premises when required to, and proactively look for customers. We would provide product training if needed, and on the job development.
