Job Description:
Full job descriptionOur client is looking to appoint an experienced Direct Tax Manager to join its Finance team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional to take ownership of a broad range of UK and international direct tax matters, supporting both the organisation and the wider insurance market while working on technical projects, compliance and advisory activities.
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare and review UK corporation tax computations and returns.
*Provide technical input on direct tax matters, including transfer pricing.
*Lead technical tax analysis and support business projects.
*Advise internal stakeholders and overseas offices on direct tax issues.
*Support tax compliance across UK and international operations.
*Manage tax risk and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
*Act as the subject matter expert for direct tax across the business.
Candidate Profile
*ACA, CTA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified.
*Strong UK corporation tax compliance and reporting experience.
*Knowledge of UK and international direct tax legislation.
*Experience within insurance or financial services is advantageous.
*Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Proactive, commercially minded and able to manage multiple priorities.
