REED Education are delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in a picturesque village just outside Cambridge to recruit a full-time School Cleaner for a September start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for a long-term position within a supportive school environment.
Position Details
*Job Title: School Cleaner
*Location: Village just outside Cambridge
*Start Date: September 2026
*Contract: Full Time, Long Term
*Hours: Monday to Friday
*6:00am – 9:00am
*3:00pm – 8:00pm

*Pay: Up to £17 per hour (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities
*Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal areas
*Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school
*Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washroom facilities
*Emptying bins and replenishing supplies where required
*Ensuring all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly
*Supporting the wider site team in maintaining a clean and safe learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
*Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
*Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
*Takes pride in maintaining high standards
*Excellent attention to detail
*Able to commit to the split-shift working pattern
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
