Full job descriptionA friendly and fast-growing engineering business is looking for a confident and personable Receptionist to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is far more than a front-of-house role; you’ll become an integral part of a close-knit office, supporting day-to-day operations, events and facilities while creating a welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike.
The Role*Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, clients and incoming calls
*Managing the reception area and ensuring a professional front-of-house experience
*Supporting with general office administration and facilities coordination
*Keeping communal areas organised and well-stocked
*Assisting with monthly company events and marketing initiatives
*Supporting with compliance, reporting and health & safety administration
*Helping the wider team with ad hoc office support as required
About You*Previous reception or front-of-house experience
*Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with people at all levels
*Happy to get stuck in and support wherever needed
*Comfortable working in a busy, sociable office environment
*Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
*Excellent telephone manner with a positive, can-do attitude
