CRA Consulting is delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established, multi-office law firm in Sheffield that continues to go from strength to strength. Due to continued growth and ambitious plans for the future, they are looking to appoint an experienced Head of Conveyancing to lead and develop their Residential Property team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Manager, Senior Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or Director looking to take ownership of a successful department while remaining involved in quality legal work.
The Opportunity
This is far more than a traditional management role. You’ll play a key part in driving the department forward, mentoring an experienced team, developing processes, supporting business development and ensuring exceptional client service remains at the heart of everything the firm does.
Working closely with the senior leadership team, you’ll have genuine influence over the future direction of the conveyancing department across multiple office locations.
Responsibilities
*Leading and managing a successful residential conveyancing team across several offices.
*Supervising fee earners and support staff, providing coaching and mentoring.
*Managing your own quality caseload of residential property matters.
*Driving departmental performance, profitability and service standards.
*Supporting recruitment, training and staff development.
*Building strong relationships with introducers, estate agents and referrers.
*Identifying opportunities to improve systems, efficiencies and client experience.
About You
We’re keen to speak with experienced Residential Property professionals who have:
*Several years’ experience handling residential conveyancing matters.
*Previous supervisory, team leader or management experience.
*Strong leadership and people management skills.
*Commercial awareness with a genuine passion for developing teams.
*Excellent client care and relationship-building abilities.
*Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, CILEX Lawyer or an experienced non-qualified manager with the right leadership background.
