Full job descriptionI’m currently partnering with a leading global media business to recruit a Management Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative finance team within a well-known organisation operating at the forefront of the media industry. You’ll gain exposure to senior stakeholders, play a key role in financial reporting and business partnering, and contribute to the continued success of a fast-paced, creative business.
The RoleReporting into the Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
*Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting the month-end close process.
*Producing balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments.
*Delivering insightful variance analysis and financial commentary.
*Supporting budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting cycles.
*Partnering with budget holders to provide financial insight and challenge.
*Assisting with year-end reporting and audit requirements.
*Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.
*Supporting ad hoc commercial analysis and finance projects.
About YouYou’ll ideally be:
*ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with atleast 1-2 years PQE
*Experienced in a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role.
*Confident preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
*An excellent communicator who enjoys building relationships with stakeholders.
*Highly organised with strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
*Advanced in Excel, with experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or NetSuite being advantageous.
