Full job descriptionWe are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician on behalf of a leading automotive retailer with franchise-approved dealerships nationwide. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled and experienced Vehicle Technicians to join a well-established dealership in Gloucester.

*Competitive salary ranging from £28,000 to £45,800, dependent on experience and qualifications

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
*Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles
*Ensure all work adheres to the manufacturer’s standards and franchise guidelines
*Accurately report vehicle conditions, faults, safety, and performance issues to the Service Manager
*Maintain high quality standards and follow health and safety procedures at all times
*Use your technical expertise to deliver excellent customer service and support the workshop team
*Work efficiently in a busy environment, meeting targets and quality expectations
*Ensure vehicles are repaired and maintained to the highest standards
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
*Qualified to at least IMI/NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
*One to two years’ practical experience as a Vehicle Technician
*Own set of tools
*Full UK driving licence with minimal penalty points
*Experience working within a franchise-approved dealership is advantageous but not essential
*Active MOT Smart Card would be beneficial
*Motivated, team-oriented, and committed to high standards of work
*Able to work in a fast-paced, professional workshop environment
