Full job descriptionWe are currently seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join our client’s team in Wigan. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking to advance their career within a reputable accident repair specialist. The successful individual will be responsible for delivering high-quality panel repairs and replacements, ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to industry standards.

Duties of a Panel Beater:
*Perform panel repairs and replacements with precision and attention to detail
*Detect and diagnose additional faults for further repairs as a Panel Beater
*Follow repair procedures in accordance with Thatcham, manufacturer, and insurance guidelines
*Conduct test welds and document results throughout the repair process
*Prepare damaged areas using body filler and sanding to a high standard
*Manage parts inventory, including storing reusable parts securely
*Ensure vehicle protection is maintained throughout the repair process
*Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety compliance
*Report any damages or parts needing repair to the relevant departments promptly
*Follow health and safety regulations, including COSHH requirements
*Complete repairs adhering to BS 10125 standards
Requirements of a Panel Beater:
*Proven experience as a Panel Beater within a bodyshop environment
*Ideally qualified to IMI or ATA standards
*Strong attention to quality and detail
*Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
*Excellent team player with a positive attitude
*Full UK driving licence is preferred
