Continued investment in people, processes, and technology has created an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Internal Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Executive to join their growing commercial team.
As an Internal Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting customers, generating quotations, processing orders, and driving sales growth. Acting as the link between customers, suppliers, production, and the wider sales team, you will use your technical knowledge to provide commercially effective solutions and exceptional levels of customer service.
Key Responsibilities of the Internal Sales Engineer
*Prepare accurate technical quotations and process customer orders.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
*Identify and develop new business opportunities through targeted prospecting activities.
*Analyse customer requirements and recommend suitable engineering solutions.
*Provide technical guidance and support to customers and colleagues.
*Manage technically focused key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.
*Liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and delivery schedules.
*Source materials and subcontract services including specialist finishing and coating processes.
*Update and progress quotations to maximise conversion rates.
As an Internal Sales Engineer you will have experience in a similar, technical sales position within a manufacturing or engineering business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working closely with customers, preparing technical quotations, identifying new business opportunities, and becoming a trusted technical advisor.
