Shift Times: 07:30 – 19:30 and Waking nights 19:30 – 07:30
Salary: £13.72 an hour
Due to a valued long-standing member of our team moving on to pastures new we are looking for a Female Support Worker to join our team specifically for one of our service users.
We are looking for attentive, caring and patient Support Worker who will put our service user first.

About the Role:
A typical day will include support with personal care, ensuring that appropriate clothing is selected for the day ahead, oral hygiene and medication. They will also need support with the selection, preparation and eating of healthy meals.
This will be a 24hr package; it is to support a young lady with complex needs based in Falkirk. This will be on a 121 basis throughout the day and a waking night Support Worker. Shifts will consist of 07:30 – 19:30 and Waking nights 19:30 – 07:30.
You will be required to support her to professional appointments such as GP, Dentist, and any other appointment they may need support with.
Our service user loves going out into the community and being involved with people. She loves being spoken to and engaged with and loves being sung too.
Our Support Workers experience variety and a huge sense of reward and achievement in their daily activities where no two days are the same and we place huge emphasis on the fact that our customers are individuals, at Mears Supported Living we feel everyone deserves to be treated as such.
About them:
Our service user loves being out in the community being social with others, whether that’s a hello from others or smiles from people walking past, that makes them happy.
Our service user has a number of conditions; Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Learning Disability, Limited mobility and Non verbal. She loves to interact with others and communicates in different ways. She has a mobility car so holding a UK Driving License would be preferred as she loves going out on day trips to the aquarium, Dynamic Earth, Garden Centres, cafes and music festivals.
Activities they enjoy:
*Going out for a drive
*Music / Being Sung too
*Going out to local attractions – Sea Life Centre, Dynamic Earth, Garden Centres
*Eating out
