Duties of a Vehicle Damage Assessor:
*Conduct comprehensive inspections and assessments of damaged vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards and industry regulations
*Utilise estimating software such as Audatex to prepare accurate repair estimates
*Source and interpret repair techniques and technical data using recognised platforms
*Identify and account for additional repairs and works as needed during the repair process
*Collaborate with the workshop supervisor to ensure seamless workflow and operational efficiency
*Assist Parts Supervisor in managing parts ordering and receipt to minimise delays
*Work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
*Apply technical knowledge and estimating skills to deliver high-quality damage assessments
*Stay informed on emerging repair techniques and vehicle types, including electric and hybrid vehicles
Requirements of a Vehicle Damage Assessor:
*Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator
*Familiarity with estimating platforms, such as Audatex
*Sound understanding of vehicle repair methods and technical data sourcing
*Ability to work efficiently under pressure and independently
*Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
*Valid VDA qualification is desirable but not essential
*Experience with electric and hybrid vehicles is a plus
*Own transport is required due to limited public transport options in the area
