Our client, a leading Legal 500 law firm, is seeking an ambitious Commercial Solicitor (4+ PQE) to join its growing Commercial team in Maidenhead. The Role
You’ll advise a diverse client base on a broad range of commercial matters, including:
*Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
*Terms and Conditions of Business
*Supply, distribution and agency agreements
*IT, software and SaaS agreements
*Licensing, intellectual property and data protection matters
*Outsourcing and service agreements
*Advising start-ups on business structures, investment and commercial strategy
*Supporting charities on governance, regulatory compliance and commercial issues
*Advising SMEs and owner-managed businesses on day-to-day commercial legal matters
*Supporting multinational organisations with UK commercial law and cross-border transactions
*Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
About You
You’ll ideally be a Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE in Commercial Law, plus:
*Strong experience advising on a wide range of commercial contracts
*Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
*Knowledge of IT, technology or software contracts would be advantageous
*Excellent technical drafting and negotiation skills
*Commercial awareness with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
*Strong communication and client relationship management skills
*An interest in business development and networking
*Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
