About Our Client
Our client is a well-established independent Travel Management Company that has been delivering exceptional service for many years. Built on family values, trust and respect, they have developed an outstanding reputation and an exceptionally loyal client base through their personalised approach to business travel.
Based in West London, they offer a supportive, collaborative working environment, with exciting plans for a full office refurbishment in 2027 as part of their continued investment in their people. As the business continues to grow, they remain committed to maintaining the close-knit culture that has been key to their long-term success.
The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Travel Manager to join their leadership team in a newly created position, this role will focus on people management, team performance and the day-to-day running of the Business Travel department.
Managing a team of nine Business Travel Consultants, you’ll be an inspiring and supportive leader who enjoys developing people, driving performance and creating a positive team culture. This is a hands-on management role, so alongside your leadership responsibilities, you’ll also manage a small portfolio of key corporate accounts, leading by example and maintaining your operational expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and develop a team of Business Travel Consultants.
Conduct regular one-to-ones, coaching sessions and performance reviews.
Manage team workloads, resources and day to day operations.
Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture focused on exceptional customer service.
Support employee engagement, wellbeing and professional development.
Handle employee relations matters and work closely with senior management where required.
Partner with the Assistant Manager to ensure the smooth running of the department.
Manage a portfolio of key corporate accounts and act as an escalation point for complex client queries.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, service delivery and operational efficiency.
Support recruitment, onboarding and succession planning.
Why Apply?
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Team Leader or Business Travel Manager who enjoys remaining operational while taking ownership of people leadership. You’ll have the opportunity to shape a newly created role, influence the future growth of the department and develop your management career within a supportive, values-led business.
If you’re passionate about coaching and developing others, enjoy building strong client relationships and thrive in a hands-on management role, we’d love to hear from you.
