Full job descriptionRobert Half Finance & Accounting are partnering with a leading Retail business in London to recruit an immediate, Interim Management Accountant.
Role:
Our client is looking for an immediate interim Management Accountant to assist them for 3-6 months. You will be responsible for following duties:
*Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met.
*Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, maintaining high standards of financial governance and adhering to all relevant deadlines.
*Build strong relationships across the business, providing financial guidance, support, and training to managers and colleagues to improve financial understanding and decision-making.
*Monitor financial performance against agreed budgets and forecasts, producing insightful variance analysis and highlighting key trends.
*Regularly communicate business-critical financial issues, risks, and opportunities to the Head of Finance, providing practical recommendations and solutions.
*Support the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with departmental managers to ensure robust financial planning.
*Assist with month-end and year-end processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
*Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
*Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the achievement of business objectives.
Profile:
The successful interim Management Accountant will have 2+ years experience
You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.
Salary & Benefits:
This role is paying between £22.00-£27.00p/h
