Your new role
*Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
*Assisting with the production of year-end financial statements.
*Processing bookkeeping records using cloud-based accounting software.
*Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
*Assisting with management accounts preparation.
*Reconciling bank accounts and balance sheet accounts.
*Maintaining accurate client records and working papers.
*Liaising with clients to obtain information and answer routine queries.
*Supporting senior team members with ad hoc accounting assignments.
*Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
What you’ll need to succeed
*Previous experience within an accountancy practice or finance environment.
*AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT.
*Strong numerical and analytical skills.
*Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Eagerness to learn and develop within the profession.
