Senior Analytics Manager£80,000 - £90,000 + bonus Hybrid - Nottinghamshire (2x days per week)This is a rare opportunity to build and lead a central Analytics function within a business undergoing a significant data transformation. Significant investment has been made to transform their data and technology landscape, including the implementation of Microsoft Fabric as their enterprise data platform. With a strong Data Engineering foundation in place, the business is now focused on building a best-in-class Analytics function. This is a key hire within a high-profile transformation programme.The Role
You will lead the Analytics Centre of Excellence and embed insight-led decision making across the organisation.You will:*Lead and develop the central Analytics function and Centre of Excellence
*Manage and grow a team of Data Analysts and Data Scientists
*Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business challenges into analytical solutions
*Drive adoption of self-service analytics across multiple business areas
*Develop semantic models, dashboards and analytical products using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
*Deliver insight and decision-support tools rather than static reporting
*Support advanced analytics, predictive modelling and AI use cases
*Influence business strategy through clear data storytelling and actionable insight
*Work closely with Data Engineering while owning the Analytics roadmap
*Build engagement and promote a data-driven culture across the business
Your Skills and Experience*Experience leading Analytics, Insight or BI teams
*Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders, with clear examples of delivering measurable commercial impact
*Strong hands-on expertise with Power BI and data visualisation
*Experience developing semantic models and scalable analytics solutions
*Commercial mindset with a focus on driving business value through data
*Experience building and scaling self-service analytics capabilities
*Understanding of advanced analytics, modelling and AI concepts
*Comfortable operating strategically while remaining hands-on
*Experience working alongside Data Engineering teams
*Background in financial services or another regulated industry is beneficial
