Location: North West London
Rate: £390 per day (Umbrella)
Contract: 3-month ongoing contract
Working Pattern: Hybrid Working
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Vox Consultants are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a Local Authority in North West London, providing strategic HR support to the Children’s Division.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional with a strong local government background who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing complex employee relations, organisational change, and leading HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities*Provide strategic HR Business Partner support to the Children’s Directorate.
*Lead on complex employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and sickness cases.
*Support and deliver organisational change, restructures and workforce transformation projects.
*Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legislation and best practice.
*Build strong relationships with senior managers, providing proactive HR advice and guidance.
*Lead on workforce planning, organisational development and performance improvement initiatives.
*Line manage and support members of the HR team, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
*Ensure HR practices remain compliant with employment legislation and Council policies.
*Keep up to date with changes in employment law, HR best practice and organisational policy.
About You*Previous experience working as an HR Business Partner within a Local Authority or public sector organisation.
*Significant experience supporting Children’s Services.
*Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
*Proven experience managing complex employee relations casework.
*Experience leading organisational change and transformation programmes.
*Previous line management experience.
*Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
*CIPD Level 5 (minimum), with Level 7 desirable.
