A well-established and growing professional services firm is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its expanding outsourcing team. Working with a varied portfolio of UK and international clients, you’ll become part of a collaborative business that combines technical expertise with a genuinely supportive and down-to-earth culture.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys management accounting, cloud-based software and building strong client relationships, whilst developing their career within a successful and growing practice.

Your new role
Your responsibilities will include:
*Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
*Managing a portfolio of UK and international clients
*Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
*Performing balance sheet reconciliations
*Supporting clients with accounting software queries
*Working with a variety of accounting systems, including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics and SAP
*Liaising directly with clients and building long-term relationships
*Supporting process improvements and efficiencies within client finance functions
What you’ll need to succeed
*Strong double-entry bookkeeping knowledge
*Previous experience preparing management accounts
*Experience completing VAT returns
*Confident undertaking balance sheet reconciliations
*Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or similar
*Strong communication and client-facing skills
*Experience gained within an accountancy practice or outsourcing environment would be advantageous.
